On June 25, 1992, Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl Defensive Tackle Jerome Brown was killed in a car accdient. The Eagles organization honored the beloved Brown with a commemorative patch worn on all jerseys for the enire 1992 season. The team and the fans adopted the slogan "Bring it home for Jerome", referring of course to the Lombardi Trophy. The Eagles fell short in their effort when they fell to the Cowboys in the Division Championship. 1992 was Reggie White's final season in an Eagles uniform as he signed a free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers in the off season.
