Description
In 1993, the Texas Rangers played their final season in Arlington Stadium. The Rangers wore a patch on the sleeve of their jersey commemorating their history in the ball park, which was originally opened in 1965 as a minor league stadium. The Ryan Express finished his Hall of Fame career after the 1993 Season, leaving the game with more strikeouts, 5,714, than any other pitcher in history. As a Ranger, Ryan also collected his 300th victory as well as pitched his record setting seventh career no hitter which was played out at Arlington Stadium in 1991.
