Description
Lyle Alzado, the one-time star lineman of the famed ‘Orange Crush’ defense in Denver, made his way to the Los Angeles Raiders in 1982. Alzado became the cornerstone of the Raiders defensive line, leading them to victory in Super Bowl XVIII against the Washington Redskins. In 1992, Alzado died from complications due to cancer in his brain which he attributed to his long term use of steroids.
