In 1990, the Buffalo Bills captured the first of four consecutive AFC Championship titles. With a solid defense intact, the Bills relied on their explosive offense throughout the year. Thurman Thomas established himself as one of the league's top backs, rushing his way to over 1,200 yards during the regular season and a spot on the AFC All Pro team. Despite Thomas' MVP caliber performance in the playoffs, the Bills narrowly lost the Super Bowl title to the New York Giants.
