Description
The 1989-1990 Boston Bruins skated with a strong defensive unit. Led by the league's top defenseman, the Bruins allowed the fewest goals in the NHL. Their gritty and solid play led them to their 21st Division title as a franchise. The Bruins battled their way to the Stanley Cup finals where they ran into a tough Edmonton Oilers team who beat them in five games.
